Any restrictions on spares?

ontheroad10 Seasoned Camper Join Date: Apr 2015 Location: Thousand Oaks Posts: 53 M.O.C. #17252	Any restrictions on spares? Just replaced my Marathon tires with 4 Goodyear G 614 on my 2013 Montana. Paid about $1400 after the $70 rebate and was told that I could probably use my 235 80r16 Marathon for a short period in case of a blowout. I'm really not interested in paying another $350 for a new spare if I don't need to. Any thoughts about the safety of mixing tires in an emergency?
