We checked this one out when we first started working up north. Wasn't too impressed. Might be okay for a night or two but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. There is a nice one at Bodega Bay and also Half Moon Bay.
Happy trails.........................

Mike, we stayed there some years ago and it was fine for us then. It may have changed in the meantime, but it's located just right to sightsee Pt. Reyes and the area.

I agree if cool is all you want, try it. Wish we could join you. It is hot in Hemet as well. I'm trying to set up a garage sale and can only stay out there about 10 mintues. There are a lot of trees at Olema so it should be cool. While there, check out Bodega Bay, although it may be more expensive there.
Happy trails...............and stay cool.

Mike,

We workamped at Olema Ranch Campground for 4 months last summer. The campground caters to families with young children. It has activities planned for children on weekends and holidays. It is an old campground so the full hookup sites are narrow and not built for rigs with slides. (We did not have enough room to extend our awning.)The campground is clean and very well maintained. The high temperature is in the 70's most of the summer. During the summer there is no rain. You will need reservations on weekends and holidays.
We enjoyed our stay there because of the great scenery and the nice friendly people that we worked with.
