Sliding bedroom door "guide"

Two trips now with our new 3402RL and after both I find the bottom white plastic guide for the sliding bedroom door has pulled away from the floor/wall. It's secured with just a small 3/4" screw. The screw stays put-the guide pulls off. The retaining strap is not the problem, it seems the door is moving away from the wall on stops/bumps. I don't want to drive 125 miles to just have the dealer put another guide on it. I was thinking of a mod here. Any ideas. (This is your cue Ozz! LOL)

Haven't saw what your talking about but could you use a small flat ss washer under the screw and give it more of a head? probably could even paint it white if thats the color of the screw.

You might want to check the overhead rail. If the screws holding the rail up pull out the guide bears more weight than it is capable of.

If the screws in either track come lose just use tooth picks or wooden matches and gorilla glue. Fill the holes with the glue and wet toothpicks. Let dry and reinstall the screws. Try to use a hand screw driver as the factory uses power screw drivers or drills and invariably they strip them out...

On our bathroom sliding door, all but one of the screws from the overhead rail pulled free and let the door drop. The factory stripped each of them by using their power drills. I had to drill new holes in the rails and remount it. So far so good. I used a hand screw driver instead of a power drill so the threads of the screws bite better. We just finished a 2500 mile trip and it is holding strong so far.

For the lower door bracket I would try using a washer over the screw as suggested to give it a broader head.
