Leak In Shower

We have a very small leak in the shower between the inside shower wall and the faucet. The water appears to be coming from underneath the faucet in back of the gasket, not from one of the two handles or the shower attachment or head. I've looked at the back through the pantry access, and everything is dry. I would assume (yes, I know what that means) that the faucet will come off if I unscrew the two plastic threaded screws on the back of faucet...the ones you get at through the pantry.

Since we'll be in a CG for another two weeks, I'm hesitant to do any serious troubleshooting that could leave us without water.

Ideas and suggestions appreciated.

Looks as if you've checked everything except where the connections go from the back of the shower wall into the faucets...don't know where else it could be.

We have found the same problem on our 3400RL. Did not have time to verify where it was leaking and may be the cause of someone bumping or hiiting the faucet assembly. Hopefully the Dealer will take care of the problem under warranty this week.

We have the same model and year as you. Our shower has two access panels in the base of the shower stall. One is near the faucet. I don't remember for sure but would bet you could get to the faucet mounting nuts from that access point. The water connections were accessible there, too, so I'd think that's where you'd need to start to remove the faucet. Unless yours differs from ours.
