Bob, once you get the tripod and dish, you can try setting it up at home to get the feel for it before you get on the road. You will then have the time and leasure to set it up, vs getting frustrated after hooking everything else up and then trying to set up the dish for the first time.

Try www.solidsignal.com, They have all the stuff you need plus you can get some great info there. Once you know what you need go to ebay and shop. Sometimes they have some great buys on dish stuff.
