Low Bridge
There is a fairly new Montana in our dealer shop forgot the model but it has the new front window. Texas plates
The Rv went under a bridge maybe 1 or 2 inches to short. It went all the way through as the rear A/C is sheared off.
Service manage said the Insurance company did not total it and they already have the check for over 28K for repair. I was surprised it was not totaled.

How tall are they? I suppose you need to measure it when hitched up? I think I read mine is 13'6".

The story was that he followed a box truck through the bridge. The truck made it. The Montana was just a bit short. This is why we have the Trucker GPS as it warns you of low clearance.
The service manager said that the inside walls were not buckled but they do not have it apart yet to see unseen damage.

How do you make your camper an inch or two shorter and do it quick?

No no no my method is much faster and you know very well you can't run these tires under inflated.
