About the Niagara Falls area, my opinion is the Canadian side is a lot prettier, while the U.S. side is more rundown. If I was going to stay in the area, I would choose the Canadian side. I've done the U.S. side and didn't like the lodging, the neighborhood and the lack of services. Much better on the Canadian side.
It's been 10 years since I've been in that area and I've heard that there were plans to improve the U.S. side, but since I've heard nothing from the same media sources that said things would improve, I don't expect anything has changed much, or maybe I missed it.
I used rental and personal vehicles, no RV.
Maybe someone who's been there recently can provide updated information.
