What options should Keystone offer on the Monty?

Poll time.

Methinks they should have an 8k axle option.

Current system with 3 levels: HC, Montana and Legacy with multiple interior and external color options seems good. Keeps prices down and lets owners add other items as they desire after they buy.

There are other higher price makes that offer more options. Montana has really stepped up in the last few years putting G rated tires on and adding disk brakes to the legacy package.

Number one option should be 100% quality build, no issues to the owners or keystone picks up the unit and fixes it correctly at the factory. Yeah, pipe dream, I know.

I just went on the factory tour about a month ago. I am not a big tv watcher but do like my sports. I asked why they did not offer a roof top dish as in a winegard traveler. He them explained that as a matter of fact that issue was brought up at an earlier meeting and that they were going to look at that. we will see. I know not everyone would want it but some might may like that option.

A widebody version (with wider garage) of the HC381TH in highest Montana trim model. Three AC units standard (with ability to run all three at once).

Disc brakes, Independent suspension and top of the line hitch pin. Extra insulation!

That would more or less cover all the bases for us! Why on earth they haven't already made the above is beyond me. The HC381 is the hottest selling floor plan they have ever had......It just needs to be taken to the next level.

Let's start simple like replacing the standard Tetford toilet with a Dometic.

If they install the coax like they do in the rest of these rigs, I'd rather they leave the traveler in the box inside the trailer..I'll install it myself.

At the Spring Rally in Coos Bay, OR the Montana Rep said this is coming. They have heard the complaints.

Switching the Toilet is a cheap fix might add 25.00 to the build price.

Make it possible to hook up a portable dish to the coach satellite port. We chose not to install a permanent dish on top of our 3160RL in order to have more flexibility in finding the satellites in parks with trees. However, we have to run the cable through a window straight to the Wally receiver. It will not work any other way.

It will work if you replace the crappy coax with quality coax. Mine works great....now.

We have tried three different cables. What brand are you using?

I don't remember the brand. but it was very heavy compared to the stock one. You have to go end to end, no splitters.

I expected the TV to be a "smart" TV and the VCR to be blue ray but both are old school technology. Why have they not used more up to date equipment. These old TVs don't even have connections to hook up other things or use your phone to play movies. With the low cost of electronics anymore you would expect them to not cheep out like this.

The first think I would like to see is Keystone and even SOB do a better job on the fit & finish we just looked at some 2019 Montana's and others and the fit & finish is not great in any of them doors that don't work,Trim falling off all ready and other things! Our Montana has had next no to problems at all just little things that I fixed myself with that said I see and hear all the horror story's. We all know keystone sells a lot of Rigs so it probable just a drop in the bucket. If we had options Disk brakes would be nice so we did not have to add at latter on all the Montana line. And lighter interior colors.
