Judy's dad passed away on November 4th. On Tuesday, November 16th, her mom became ill and by Thursday, was diagnosed with double pneumonia. Our local hospital placed her on IV antibiotics but she did not improve. She was then transferred to Guthrie - Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa, about 70 miles away. Again, she was placed on more IV antibiotics and again, no improvement. She was placed in the pulmonary ICU with a ventilator. Still, no improvement. They are doing a lung biopsy today in an effort to find out what they are dealing with. They have no answers.

On Thanksgiving @5:30 pm, a call from the hospital that Mom was improving and they had removed the ventilator. Mega doses of steroids turned things around. They are still waiting for biopsy results and that will determine further course of treatment. She was moved to a private room yesterday, Friday. Thank you ALL for your prayers and concerns.

Great news and great Thanksgiving day. Prayers continue.
