Bedroom slide

I have a 2016 3721RL and the bedroom hydraulic slide cable snapped one of the strands. Can I fix it myself?

Hydraulic cable? It's either hydraulic or cable, probably electric motor with cables.

Yes, you can repair yourself if handy. Cable Repair Kit from Bal Accuslide available on line from Amazon for $20. Installation and repair manuals available free on line from vendor site. As previously stated, if cable, electric. With slide closed, you can stand on the bed, and see the motor and hookups and what you would be dealing with.

Guess we are just lucky. Bought our 2015 over the 2014 4th of July weekend. Heavy travel and usage. Bedroom slide has been trouble free. Do keep the cables/chain well lubricated, and am careful not to overextend when opening/closing the slide.

I just looked at a new DRV $200,000 fiver that our neighbor bought. It has cable slides in the bedroom.
