We have the 2013 358rlt Mountaineer, has the same floor plan in the living room kitchen area as the 3582 Montana. We liked the all in one bath in the Mountaineer because of the leg room on the throne for my tall spouse. We absolutely love this floor plan, especially the living/kitchen area. Love the separate island and the large frig that you can get to when slides are in. This is our 4th FW and 9th RV so we have had a lot of floor plans. This is by far our favorite. I think you will love the 3582. We also moved our couch to the rear and it fits fine, so the chairs are in front of tv and you can still lie down on couch and watch tv. We also have fireplace, which I wouldn't do without, king size bed and bedroom air. We stay in ours 2-3 months in the winter and really love it. Take the plunge, don't think you will regret it.

We have a 2012 3582 and really like it. There are a number of things that we like about it over the other models available that year. The large amount of counter space, being able to get to the bathroom and refrigerator while the slides are closed. This is very convenient while on he road. We like being able to change the chairs and the couch location. Lots of storage. We like the ability to lower the TV and have a nice big window. Larger Tub/Shower. We have duel A/C's, the Level-Up system, large frig ( which my wife insisted on ), king bed, and we put Goodyear 614 Tires on it.

There are pro's and con's of any unit but we think that ths one offers a lot. Good luck on your decision.

Dodgeman, we too have a 2012 3582rl. And we agree with Petmoose about everything said and we did Goodyear G614's also. The one option I can't say enough about is the level up system. Don't leave home without it. It is wonderful. Our rig came with a king bed, but we immediately changed it out for a queen as it provides just enough extra space in the bedroom. The 4 door refer is also a must have. At delivery, I had them remove their standard 12 volt batteries, then I installed two 6 volt golf cart batteries immediately and received a $150 credit that helped pay for them. If I am un-happy about anything, it is the leather couch and recliners. They are not very comfortable and we plan on replacing them after our travels when we return home this spring.

We have toured the 2013 model 3582 and like their latest upgrades including the recessed lighting, kitchen countertop colors, recessed stove top and plumbing changes. What we didn't like was their change to the fireplace area where they added a pullout desk, mounted the tv on the wall, but removed the window. The window is wonderful!!!

If you get the 2nd AC option, make sure they give you the low profile AC unit.

Overall, we love the layout of the 3582. The open feeling has garnered many compliments with other Montana owners. We find their is no lack of storage for our needs. I just wish I could find a place to carry our 2 ATV's and 2 kayaks.

Jim

I have a 2011 Big Sky 3580 that was mfg 2 weeks before they started calling them 2012 models. I agree with the others about this model. We realy like that you can have the slides in while traveling and still get to the frig, bath room and the bed. Also like the paint, auto 6 point leveling system and tires. We also did not like the leather or cloth rockers and sofa so we took the cloth at no cost and will replace them at a later date. We had the second air cond put on the bed room. Added 3 X-Factor cross braces to the frame. Added the second 12 volt battery. With the island sink and counter we have plenty of counter space. The big 2 door frig is a must, we love it and the extra freezer space.

Thx,for all the comments, that floor plan is definitely on the A list.Do any of you have dual pane windows in your units? I also like the full body paint but don't know if it is worth the extra cost. Will definitely get the leveling system and the 2nd air.And will beef up the tires.Thx for all the comments.Dodgeman.

Dodgeman,

We have a 2011 3580RL and after seeing the new 3582RL really like the changes. Our 3580 suits us well and we think with the 3582 changes will make it all that much better. Sue really loves the kitchen layout as she is a baker of fine cookies, cake and all things sweet!

We saw the 3582RL at the Hershey show last year and it was nice!

Good Luck,

Les

Dodgeman, if you have the opportunity to add dual pane windows, I would definitely do it. I hear an occasional story of seal breakage on the thermal units, but I think they are made better today.
