Wierd leak

We have a 2007 3400 RL. Currently on a trip from San Antonio to Las Vegas and will return and tour SE AZ. First night was in Fort Stockton (becoming a regular stop for us when we head west). The morning after we set up the wooden grille under the steps was wet. Removed the grille (I believe this is the return air for the furnace?) and could not see anything obvious, although there is/are a lot of plumbing under there. One week later in to the trip I am guessing it is related to shower usage, as we never see a leak during the day, but we both shower at night, and find the area wet the next morning. I have stuffed towels down there, and have removed all three access panels on the shower base (no moisture), and have laid on my stomach with a flashlight while DW showers and can't see where the water is coming from. If anyone has experienced a similar problem or has any advice on diagnosing it I would love to hear from them. We are not home for two more weeks. TIA.

If the putty near the drain is old and cracked water could be running down the outside of the drain pipe and dropping off later on it's trip to the tank.

Would guess that grill just helps keep the tanks warm. The return air is right at the furnace

By the way you laying there with a flashlight while the wife showers paints a weird picture.

Have you checked around the Toilet or the sink in the bathroom to make sure it's not some other then the shower you my need to pull the back wall out of the basement to
get a better look.

Pull the panel in the basement and get in there to inspect before you start to have other problems.

I found the faucet valve leaking behind the adapter in mine. Replaced the faucet and leak was gone. Only leaked when the shower was in use.
