Progressive RV Insurance
Has anyone had experience with Progressive RV Insurance seemingly endorsed by Keystone? I got a packet in the mail the other day with info on www.InsureMyKeystone.com. I currently have my fiver insured thru Farmers ... I'm not a full timer ... nor a long timer ... just a recreational RVer that mostly puts it up for the season Nov - March. I don't need a boatload of insurance as like mentioned, I don't come anywhere near living in my fiver ... yet. I'm looking for insurance that would aid in replacing my fiver should it get totaled in an accident or wiped out by Mother Nature. Thanks in advance!

We had Progressive on our last 5th wheel, no complaints but luckily never had to use it. I checked around last year when we purchased the new Montana and Good Sam had better rates, covered more and had the storage option. Progressive did not offer the storage option so we went with Good Sam and have saved $$$ during the winter months when not using the Montana.

We have Progressive, went there when we purchased our unit new all those years ago and State Farm set about to charge us an arm, leg and backside for insurance. We saved several hundred dollars when we switched, of course, that was a few years back and of course, we do not remember the exact amounts.
We do NOT have fulltimers insurance, we are longtimers. We have a home and homeowners insurance.
We have coverage on the unit, we had replacement for the first 5 years, now it is insured for the value of the unit.
Will say when the unit was backed into the corner of a building by the owner of that building and I called Progressive they were very cooperative and helpful on the phone. The owner decided to pay for the repairs out of his pocket so we cancelled the claim with Progressive.

We have Progressive on the RV. They have three options, less than 25 days, less than 180 days, and full time. We had our Montana broke into when it was two months old, and Progressive did not bat a eye on fixing all the damage and stolen TV's. Bill was over $6,000, and they never raised my rate. We are on the 180 days plan and it runs around $480 per year.

I was with Progressive for almost five years, had a small fender bender and they paid the 2600 dollars. I pulled the insurance for 10 months while we ran a rv park and they furnished an apartment. When We moved back in to the fiver I called them and they said they couldn't cover us because we were full timers. So I went with Good Sam.

Hasn't Progressive been in the news lately? And I'm not talking the good news either. Maybe I'm wrong, but worth checking into anyway.....

I looked at progressive when we went full time. They wouldn't give us replacement coverage because we bought the rig new, but almost two years old so we placed the vehicle insurance with them and placed the rig with Blue Sky. Happy with both so far.

Went thru AAA( A.K.A.progressive) ALOT cheaper than Farmers should have done it a long time ago, no problems yet and we DO have replacement value for our new rig and it was no problem being fulltimers. The problem Progressive has been in lately is when you want to make a claim for injuries and they will fight that like hell not to pay but thay are no different than most we have been through that with Farmers when my wife was injured in a wreck and it took 2 years to settle, they send you to their own Quack doctors and say OHHH your O.K.and deny your claim ,now they have a class action suit against them and Progressive will be in the same boat soon

I changed from State Farm to Progressive and have been happy with them. I have had three claims and they responded quickly and efficiently. I have the replacement coverage and my rates just went up 10% and now run me $50/month starting the end of this month. I did try to change the policy to a more cheaper premium but for the little bit I would save it wasn't worth it. I am in the middle of my third claim where I was rear ended so I don't want to change until everything is complete. At that time I will look at some other options. Interesting about Good Sam because, for me, they were too expensive.

We have progressive on all our vehicles, after being five years claim free,
they gave me zero deductable. At their suggestion I raised my deductable
and saved enough to buy the TST monitoring system. Then I did their snapshot
Device on my wife's car and saved a bunch more. We are satisfied with Progressive.

Like Dick we went with BlueSky, their rates were ~$150 less than GoodSam and Progressive. We are not full timers.

I have progressive. They do have a storage/winter option. You just go online and change your deductible to the maximum (me 2500) and it has the same effect.

I have both the Truck & Montana with Progressive. I have not had any claims so can not speak on that part but have used their road side assistance which is included with our policy. They helped us find tires for the trailer on a Sunday in Idaho. Not a easy task. Then last year we had to have the truck and trailer towed. I was told by the driver that it was a $900~$1000 tow. Cost me nothing and my renewal went down a few dollars not up.

He can send money wherever he wants just as long as he covers my claims. Based on who donated, some of my money was used to support the Senate Candidate in Missouri also. If they do honest business with me they have the right to whatever opinion they may have. Just don't ask me to support it beyond doing business.

They are also in trouble for using their own lawyers to help the other party that hit YOU so they do not have to pay out a claim, like I said they all do these type of practices to not pay out on a INJURY claim,NON injury claims are most of the time no problem and they take care of it quickly
