City Water Issues

Anyone here familiar with the convenience center on the 2012 montana's? I am currently unable to use this connection anymore. When i connect the hose to the city water port and pressurize the connection i get nothing inside the rig. The valve is set to normal mode for the city water not fill though moving this back and forth between modes does not change the issue and all the other valves are winterizing off. I have been running water using the fresh tank and pump but would be nice to run city water again

It sounds like the check valve built into the hose inlet is stuck closed. You might be able to remove the inlet screen and stick a screwdriver into the inlet to break the valve free. If that doesn't work, you can get a new inlet fitting from most any RV store, or just go to Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/RecPro-Camper...857265&sr=8-12

Thanks so much thats exactly what the issue was. When i first brought her home I had my dad take a look at her as he owns a 04 beaver 45' and he took the inlet screen off to clean it out and the little plastic piece that holds the spring back and keeps the rod centered in the valve had fallen out. took me a few min of looking at the link you posted to realize what that little part was and what it went to. Its all back in place now and working though i suspect this is actually broken and will need replaced at some point and the fix i just did was a bandaid

You may want to check the fittings on the inlet valve. If my memory serves me right they come in brass and plastic. I bought a brass and when I went to replace realized the female end was plastic. I was told that would not make a good connection.
