10 Minute slideout awning?

Came up with something real quick for a slideout awning since my Montana didn't come with anything like that. I used the 4mm corrugated plastic sheets that cost about $10-15 and attached it with banner weld tape. Thinks this can work once a trailer is in place? I put it on because I have the slideout in repair and tilted slightly to the trailer while the floor is getting replaced.

Do you have the front edge taped down for uplift?

At this point I don't. If I would go permanent, I would do a double hinge and have it attach and still keep the overhang.
