I believe not many will say they do.
here is what many worry about: what happens if you get a flat tire?? on that side??
Others will happen in and offer their opinions, I am sure.
plus you can try doing a search (top of page), be sure to include the Archives.

We use a seasonal lot May - Sept each year for the last 7 years and we don't own any slide supports. No problems experienced thus far.

Not needed, don't use, dangerous, can damage slide. Supports were needed when what are now slides were tip outs. Tip outs did not have a bottom support, slide outs do.
Happy trails........................

I have a set in one of the storage builds at home base. I used them one time and a experienced RVer explained to me what can happen if used, and it was bad. They are one of those gadgets that I thought was a need, instead it was a waste of money. GBY....

We used them once in Desert Hot Srings but the wind blew, the trailer rocked, but the slide stood still. Not good! I now use 4 under the frame. They make the trailer "rock" solid along with the J T strongarms. I'm not worried about flat tires.

Those slideouts have a couple of 200+ lb workers running around on top of them while in the factory. I stand on them from time to time. They are solid as a rock.

These posts provide many excellent reasons for not using them that are far more valid than using them. I was considering purchasing them because the book "recommended" them. Forget it, now, I can waste my money elsewhere for certain and I can save on weight.
Thanks, MOC!

Keystone says do not use them. Plus, they're not needed. At a couple of the factory tours the tour guide climbed onto a slide roof and jumped to show the strength of the system, as well as the slide roof. We don't use them and never will. As others said, if a tire goes flat or the rig settles on the ground, you damage the slide mechanism. And that's not covered by warranty.

I do not believe I have a problem with my slide out per se - but I seem to have a very soft and springy floor in the slide out - the dining table bounces around like mad - like the flor itself is not sound- but the part of the slide out with the couch is solid as a rock. Any similar experiences? (2008 Montana)

Dennish, we have the same thing in this 2007 3400RL. Just step on that floor and a very full glass of water on the dining room table will slosh onto the table. We were at a Fall rally in Goshen when the Montana was 3 weeks old. I complained about that floor. They decided it had a bad spot and put in a new floor. Not much better at all. They also told me they were using a thinner, lighter weight floor than they had in our 2003 model. I hope they've changed back. I do not like the floor in that slide at all.
In other words, I don't think a support under it is going to help unless you find some way to strengthen the entire floor in that part of the slide. Bracing the slide itself isn't likely to help. If you figure out a way, please let me know! Good luck.

Don't use them! They were designed for the first type of RV that had what is referred to as "tipouts." Those were the forerunners of slideouts. They actually tipped out and needed support under them. If you go to someplace that sells them, they will tell you how well they support your slides. Poppycock! They just want to sell their old inventory. Please don't waste your money. We've been full time for going on 10 years and don't use them. Don't need them. Rig not designed for their use.

Your slide outs are made to hold weight. If you brace the slide out frame and the coach moves, the slide mechanism will be bent or worse.
We don't use them.
