Windows 10 anyone?

I downloaded Windows 10 today, not sure if I’ll even like it.
Thought I had lost everything and then later I got it all back.

I don’t Like that kind of a scare!
Is anyone on here using it and if so how do you like it?

Downloaded it to all of my systems and it is working very smoothly. I also downloaded Classic Shell to maintain a Windows 7 start screen. Not using the latest Windows browser as I prefer Chrome.

I've had it for over a month. One minor irritant is that it doesn't remember to keep the touch pad turned off when I've a mouse attached so I've got to reapply this every time I turn my laptop on. Went from 8.1 to it and really like not having a whole screen of icons - there's only a pop-up window. I also didn't give it access to my entire life and stuck with Firefox. You can easily do this by NOT using the express setup at the beginning.

I have downloaded and we are now using it, and we use fire fox browser with classic shell. No apparent problems

I talked to the Geek Squad about it at Best Buy and they all suggested I wait a few months before downloading it. That lets them work out the initial bugs (No Pun Intended! ) first.

I had upgraded and all was fine except my system lost the ability to scan files as .pdf
Coincidentally, my 1TB hard drive developed bad sectors on a 6 month old hard drive. I installed an identical new HD and loaded a factory system 8.1 operating system and all is well. Restored all my old files. Canon drivers for the printer wouldn't work well with Windows 10, so I just got a new Epson printer and it works great.
I'm going to wait awhile before I attempt Windows 10 again.

It's far superior to the previous version, but there is a learning curve with it. I had to reinstall my virus protection as the download wiped it out.

I have it on 2 laptops and love it. It's a combo of win 7 and 8 combined. Edge the new IE needs a little more work which MS knows. Sometimes I have to use Chrome to get it done. But Edge is way faster than anything I have ever used. Upgrading to 10 was so easy and event free on both laptops and all my stuff was still there as was all my 3rd party drivers.

I have worked with computers back to the days when it was just DOS. And this upgrade was the best of the bunch.

Tip - if something is not working after the 10 upgrade, such as your touch pad, wifi, sound etc. visit the company who makes your laptop in example Dell. HP etc. to find what you need.

I also talked to Geek Squad and the tech I talked to recommended waiting, as there was a 10.1 or something like that coming along right behind 10 that was better, so am waiting for now.

Ditto. I've heard good and bad, but enough bad so as to wait a while.

Naw...left windows behind and run Linux Mint Debian Edition running Cinnamon as desktop. Sure have to learn new stuff, but no different than the learning process from one windows edition to the next. John
