David and Jo-Anna, we will still be in Palmer on Saturday. Sunday we travel to Ninilchik and we will be staying at the Alaskan Angler RV Park. Thanks for the tips on where to eat in Homer. We are hoping to do some fishing while we are in the south areas.

Hi David & JoAnna, I was just responding to a few other links and Doug beat me to this news of our delayed arrival in Seward. Anyway, we were so amazed that Seward is so crowded around the 4th. We had originally planned to head to Seward tomarrow, but found it is impossible. Took us awhile yesterday to rethink plans and get reservations. We will arrive in Ninilchik on Sunday staying at the Alaskan Angler RV Park until the 13th. We will finally be able to get into Stoney Creek/Seward on the 13th and stay through the 17th.
Tammy and Bernie, now you have an idea of our arrival and looking forward to meeting you.
Robbie and Alice, thanks for the info. Thought about dry camping on the Spit but we should be able to do easy day trips either north to Soldotna/Kenai or south to Homer from Ninilchik.
HAPPY 4th of JULY everyone!!!!

We just got home from downtown Seward for the 4th! What a blast. Our feet are so sore, but we had a ball. Sorry y'all had to rearrange your plans, but I'm glad you were able to stay in Ninilchik. Can't wait to meet you! It is absolutely insane in downtown Seward right now!

Tammy and Bernie, glad you had a good time. Actually it is so peaceful here in Palmer right now at the Mountain View RV park, kind of glad we are not in that crowded mess!!! It should be much calmer when we arrive on the 13th!! See you soon!
