Going to the Northwest to Start Fulltiming
We closed the sale of our "stick" house in PBurgh two days ago and have begun the fulltiming mode. We are in the Monty at Buttercup Campground north of PBurgh, PA , site of the Northeast rally two years ago in the exact same site! We'll be here for another week or so to tie up loose ends and say our temporary goodbys to family and friends, then head to Vancouver WA to be close to my daughter Heather's family and two grandkids. We'll be in an RV park close to her place. We do not plan on another stick house for a couple of years. Let the FULLTIMING begin. Life is Good!
Left PA on the 15th, first night in Indiana, second in Iowa, third (last night) in Mitchell SD and tonight. Head to Sturgis, SD tomorrow.
Temps are hot and dry 100F +. The midwest is drying up and corn crops are devastated. Trip is going fine.
Update 7/20: It was 105F hot in Sturgis, SD yesterday. My single AC was straining to cool down and ran all night. Arrived safely in Big Timber, Mt today. The Montana is in Montana! Love it here in the mountains.
Update 7/28: We have arrived at our destination in Ridgefield, WA safe and sound!!!
Weather in this Portland area is nice and cool, what a welcome change.
Life is good.

When you’re in the Vancouver, WA are try the Columbia Riverfront RV Park in Woodland, WA. Here is their web site http://www.columbiariverfrontrvpark.com/ - they are right on the Columbia river so you can watch river traffic going to and from Portland and points east. We love it there. Congratulations on going fulltime.

We came off the fulltiming road after six years four years ago, and certainly miss it. As it is, we spend less than 100 days a year in our Lake home, making us question why we even bought it. Have fun!!

We, too, will be visiting our daughter (Heather) and family in PNW. She is in the southern part of Seattle. Would either of your grand kids be named Cooper or Kaylene? If they are then I think we may have entered the Twilight Zone!
We will be visiting them for the most part of late July and all of August. If it works out maybe we can get these TWO HEATHERs together for a quick visit. Happy Trails, Dennis and Mary Kay.

Welcome to the Pacific North West. Make sure you visit Mt. St. Helens and Labor Day weekend there is a Flea Market in Packwood Washington. It covers the whole town from one end to the other. We'll be there camping for the weekend.
