The Passing of a Generation

Al's mom passed this AM

http://www.reflectionsfromthefence.com/2010/07/passing-of-generation.html

We have cancelled out of the Great Lakes Rally.

Not unexpected, but, still we will be busy or a few weeks.

Thanks to all the MOCers over on Facebook for your support.

My condolences. Being born in 1923, Al's mother was blessed to bare witness and be a part of America at her finest. Honor and cherish the fact that she was a part of what Tom Brokaw rightfully called the "Greatest Generation", and know that as long as you live, so does she. May the Lord bring you both comfort.

I know we already posted on Facebook, but we're thinking of you again today! I remember reading on one of your blogs about the early years of camping and how she went with you and the boys were small then. I'm sure you have many happy camping memories! Isn't it nice that what used to be camping has evolved into RVing and that it get passed from generation to generation. It good to keep those memories alive.
