What little hiddie hole?

I have 2 pointy thingies, but I never heard anything about a secret hiddie hole in the bedroom . Where is that at. I want one to. Tell me where I can find it!

On the 3400 RL, there is one over the valance of the bedroom window and one that swings open on the right side of that window. Just pull the frame open at the right. It os hinged.

Now see, if it weren't for this forum I wouldn't have known about the pointy thingie, and I wouldn't have known about the hiddie holes. What a wonder world of information this Montanaowners club is.
Thanks Radhazjoe for the info. I am going to go out right now and find them.

Ok, just went out in the rain, just to see if I could find the little hiddie holes. I found them. Wow what an intellegent thing to do. I mean the little pointy thingies were one thing, but I just thrilled to death to find those holes. How did everyone find these things? This is like going on a treasure hunt.

Sue, I went out in the rain to find these things. I did find them. Go out and up to the bedroom. The big window above the dresser put your hand up on the top of the valance. There is a piece of wood you just lift it out and there is alittle cubby there. Then the best part is on your right hand of that very same window put your hand on the vertical piece of wood. It is on hinges pull it open.
Treasures are stored there.

I think Sue's Montana is too old to have hidey things. This is a recent "change". Sorry Sue, time to trade her in on a new model!

Those of us with 2004's mostly have cabinets over the dresser so I don't think we got any extra hiding places.

When we were at the Tampa RV Show the salesman showed us the hidee holes but we never saw the pointy thingie.
Will someone explain what this is.
We have a 2001 Montana so we only have thingamajigs and whatchmacallums.

The "pointy thing" is a ring holder that is inside a flip-down panel just below the sink in the galley. I don't know how long Keystone/Montana has been doing this. The "hidey-holes" are new for 2005 because they changed the wardrobe and dresser to allow for a washer/dryer in the bedroom on the models that don't have a big enough closet. When they raised the dresser they had to raise the window which then eliminated the cabinets overhead, so they put in the wooden valance and thus the secret spaces.

awaywego, I am sure if you have thingamajigs and whatchmacallums you must have the pointy thingie. Look in the little space that is for your sponges by the kitchen sink. They should be there. What year is your Monty. That could be the difference.

Oh, I just saw that your Monty is a 2001. So I don't know if it will have that fine feature or not. But Parrothead posted a picture of it. Do a search you should be able to find it.

Paul,

Thanks for the info on the pointie things.
We have the space that opens under the sink for sponges but we didn't get the pointie things.
Now we feel left out for sure.

Well, I don't know when they started it, but I have 2 drawers and 2 pointy thingies. Maybe if you were to let Keystone know they could give you one. So that you wouldn't feel left our. That is a real bummer you know. Kathi really enjoys going out and finding all these added treasures. She said it is like going on a scavenger hunt. Paul

2 drawers but no pointy things nor hidey holes in our early 2003 model. I think it was 2005 models they first put this in but can't swear by that.

Am I missing a joke, here?

We have a 2005 3475, and I can’t see any “hidey holes, or pointy things, anywhere.

Maybe one of the Keystone employees who was on drugs worked on the rigs that have them?

Gyro

We just got the same unit. Maybe they did not start doing this till later. I was told Keystone makes 3-4 changes per model year. Maybe you have an early 2005. If you have this it hiddy hole it will be on top of the valance in the bedroom. Also, the right side of the window trim is hinged so you can open it. It would only hold a few keys for very small things on hooks. The pointy thing (which Parrethead started some time ago) is in the top little door below the kitchen sink.

This has been a good thread on humor.
