Day/Night Window Shades

Has anyone replaced the white window shade? Wondering if it is like removing & replacing a shade at home.

removing shades

I have never been able to figure out how to remove the shades from the brackets either. I could not find any info on the Irvine Shade site or youtube (it has been a while since I looked). I have a feeling it must be pretty easy once you figure out how to "pull here-rotate up there" or whatever. I sort of messed with it trying to rotate or push one direction or the other and nothing felt like it released the shade and I did not want to force anything. I have one blind that won't stay down, and another won't go up - so I need to figure oout how to remove them also.

Researched utube also, nothing on these type shades. Guess I will have to check with a dealer, hopefully they will show me, & I will pass on the information unless someone from our group finds something on the subject.

I'm presuming you are talking about the roll up shades that Keystone uses Irvine Shade in the windows. If so, there are either 2/3/4 clips holding up your shades to the valance. They are extremely hard to get to and they have a small slide you have to move and either slide the shade back or forward (depending on how the clips are put on) and then tilt the mechanism down that is holding the shades to remove them. You normally have to hold your tongue just right to do all those things at one time to be successful. When you remove the shade, you must take both the dark and the white/cream down at once. We have gone through three sets of shades so far on the large back window. Good luck!

Thanks Rondo for the information. RV dealer says easy job, sounds like no. This shade is the large one on rear window so it probably has 4 clips. ☹
