Fender brace
While driving the trailer back to storage I noticed the driver side fender sort of flapping in and out. When parked I examined the fender underneath. There is a brace that only goes straight up and down with a screw in the fender and another at the top into something??? The top screw (I think) wore thru the brace (no access to actually see anything).
To me it looks like the only way to get at this is to remove the whole fender!!! Then attach the brace to the body or whatever it is attached to, and then re-assemble the fender, and finally re-attach the fender screw.
Has anyone run in to this problem and if so, how did you fix it?
Thanks.

I was looking at my 305RL last week and found about 6 screws from both fender fairings where missing I replaced all of the self tapping screws with #10 screws and fiber lock or self locking nuts and washers thru the braces and the fender fairings I got everything at Menards #10 x 1" screw #10 self locking nuts and #8 flat washers worked great on the #10 screws

I had the same problem on my 3791. Just put a bolt thru the hole with washers on both sides. Has been working fine for over a year. My fender is black so I painted the bolt and washer black.

Make sure to use stainless steel hardware. Even painted cadmium plated will rust

If you put the slide out some can you get it? I had one on mine that the screw had broken off the only way to get to it was to put the slide part way out.

I had it down in storage so didn't try putting out the slide. That will be my first thing to try. I don't think it will make a difference tho. If that doesn't help, I will bite the bullet and remove the fender. I had to remove the back corner section for another reason, and I think I just remove the rubber horizontal piece and then the screws underneath it and the fender will drop off (hopefully).
Crazy way to brace the fender - no access to the brace!!!!

I have done a lot of the repairs mentioned here. I did have to take the fender off to fix the top of the bracket. When I put it back together, it’s a lot better than the factory dreamed of. Sorry no pics.

I made some additional brackets out of 1/8" aluminum, bent sort of like a z and fastened then to the tube steel and trough the fender into them. Solis as a rock now.

I had that problem too. Best solution for me was to remove the fender and make sure the brace was attached properly. Then, put the fender back on. You may need to make a new hole in the brace to match the hold in the fender if you altered the position of the brace at all.

I removed the wheels and had them balanced. That really cut down on the loose screws.
Trailer wheels needs to be balanced using the lug centering device, not the cone like car tires. Bill

I also added aluminum bracket on driver side.
Someone recommended to unscrew all screws and screw them back in with silicon in the hole.
works like a charm, no lose screw anymore.
