Replacement Bed
We are replacing our mattress in our 2007 Monty and am wondering if they are standard sizes or specific type of beds for RV's. Ours is a queen size and it measured out at 60" x a little over 78".
I think a standard queen mattress is 60" x 80".

Our 2007 3400 had an rv-specific bed which had rounded corners at the foot of it (it was a king size however). Not sure about the queen size, but you need to look at the area where the mattress is against the sink vanity when the slides are retracted. The curved corner was to keep the mattress from hitting against the sink vanity. Might be worth taking a look.

Best prices seem to be online. They will fabricate it as you wish. Many times there is no charge for rounding the corners or shortening it a couple of inches. We bought our memory foam online, custom cut, at a significant discount.
Our mattress is 80". With memory foam it is not a problem when the slide is retracted because the foam easily compresses to accommodate the extra length.

We took the King with the rounded corners out & put in our Queen Mattress from our stick home. Without any problems. It also gave us much more room on the sides.

Same here...when the bedroom slide goes in, the mattress is snug up against the dresser and the vanity...no problems, and we love the extra room to move around the bed.

Us also. Last weekend we threw out the king and bought a new standard queen and put a new 3" memory foam topper on it.
Sleeping much better now with more space in the bedroom.

Thank-you everyone for your comments. We'll look for a standard queen with rounded corners.

I have the king with rounded corners which is horrible for sleeping, so the wife purchased a 5 inch thick memory foam matress #5 firmness off ebay at less than half the price of the store prices. Factory reject, just had small rip in the corner. We trimed the corners to fit on top of the cheap rv matress and it sleeps like a dream.

Our standard queen is just that, no rounded corners.
We have not had any problems with the regular corners.

I have been doing some mods and the first was to take out the king with the rounded corners. I reworked the bed frame that had some places that had come loose and cut it down and got a house queen 60"x80" we never liked the rounded corners anyway. Lots more room to get around the bed now wish we had changed it along time ago. DW loves it.

Agree...do not think the rounded corners are needed...even if you can find them!
