Nice job, that looks like the same fire place that we put in.

Looks great!
Those fireplaces are nice, you really don't appreciate them until you have one. We love ours.
Nice job. What else is on your list?

The fireplace look great, you will get a lot of enjoyment from it. The plinth blocks and fluted molding add a lot of class to the fireplace.

Nice job. I just finished mine about a month ago and waiting for the first chance to use it.

Bill-N-Donna, yes I believe that is the exact fireplace you have in your Montana. Once i saw the pictures of your install I knew that fireplace would work in the Montana. YOU did a fantastic job on your install.
We are looking forward to actually using it... But it did work great in our Southern California winter of 50 deg!!!
Ozz i think you are the Mod KING! I just look at all the great stuff you do and my list gets longer and longer. I think my next mod is going to be connecting all three TV's to the Jensen entertainment center. Right now I can only watch a movie on the 32in in the living room. I want to be able to watch a movie in the other two rooms if i want as well. Also i will be ordering and installing the Blue Ox bed saver in the next couple weeks. My Mods will be slow since that trailer payment seems to keep coming around every month.

I think NCFischers is running a close race with Ozz on the mod list. And from what I remember not all of them were real expensive. Maybe Jim could direct you to that long list he has?

Just bought a Dimplex DF2690 this am. Have to wait until the weather warms up and the snow goes before I can install. Like the great pictures that have been included in the other post. Great job everyone. Hopefully I will be able to post photos when I do my install.

Thanks so much for the complement! We didn’t even notice it until after we bought the unit but the design on the corners was exactly the same as what is in the trim on the slideouts. Couldn’t have worked out better.

Looks good, what brand did you use and how did you wire it in?
I notice there is a space on the left side which I don't see in the pics by Bill N Donna

I was concerned about venting. I put a black metal mesh on that side for ventalation. Got the fireplace at home depot for 92 bucks. Cord goes up behind the Jensen unit and plugs in where the TV is.
