Digital Converter Hook-up

Can anyone give me some advise as to hooking up a DTV converter? Have never used our TV's with the antenna.

I guess you may need a little more information. We have a 3000rk with two TV's. Will one converter do the trick for both TV's or do I need one for each of them. Also, a guy wants to sell me one that goes on the antenna itself and said it "should" work for both. I know absolutely nothing about how the coax is wired in the unit so I'm really in the dark on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to watch different programs on each TV at the same time, I would say you need a converter for each TV as the converter now becomes your TV Tuner. I think the guy is off about something on the Antenna because an Antenna is an Antenna, makes no difference Analog or Digital, the RF signal is the same. Only real difference is that with Digital there is no longer channels 2 thru 6, all channels are now 7 to 69 with many of the original lower channels moved up into the 14 to 69 range.

Although most digital channel frequencies are in the high VHF or UHF (channels 7-51) range, the low VHF band (channels 2-6) is also used for digital channels, too. Channels 52-69 (the 700 MHz band) have been reallocated to wireless (4G) and Public Safety.
