Security light turns on at will

Early in the wee hours of the morning (still dark) the security light of our 2010, 2955RL came on. I had to get out of bed and go to the truck (where I keep the remote) to turn it off. This happens every so often and at will.
Some Questions:
* What turns it on? Motion? Heat? Movement?
* Is there a way to disarm the light permanently and still be able to turn it on with the switch? This would be my option.

I really don’t have an answer for you but I wonder if you kept the remotes in the stick house over winter if that might make a difference?

Mine flashed on and off once and we found a loose wire in the fuse panel. Ended up having to replace the fuse panel because some of the installation on the wires was burnt and that section of the fuse panel was inoperative. While in there, check all you wires and put it on your winterizing list, if applicable, to check the wires yearly. Good luck

If like mine, the light comes on when current hits it. The remote capability and switch capabilies of the rig are all controlled by and tied to a controller mounted in the front storage area next to the pump resevoir for the hydralics. As an example, the switch for the front legs is wired to the controller. If you hit the remote you will see a light activate on the controller and the remote takes over. Turn the remote off, the light goes off. I just replaced my controller. My legs would not work via switch but would with the remote, because tied together. Replaced the controller, back to normal. So, after all that, I suspect that the light is being activated because of current flow to the light, and either the controller, or a loose connection/gust of wind is the cultprit, so I would start there.

Can't find it just now, but I believe there is a motion sensitive mode. Some one will be along with the answer. Larry

Don't let Will come by. On the serious side, I just installed an aftermarket pourch light that has a motion sensor mode. If I turn on the light and leave it on for a while, or turn it off right away it stays on manual mode. Turn in on, then off, then immediately back on it is in motion sensor mode. There is a littl blur light in the sensor area that blinks.

When we bought our 2010 a few years ago that happened so many times I just removed the bulb, and also the LED from the pin box. We never use the remote anyway so since then no more problems.
