Little Rock AR campgrounds?
Campgrounds are closing in WI so heading to Little Rock for a couple weeks in November. Anyone have recommendations for campgrounds in the area. Like spacious sites with at least electricity and water. Trees are nice. Thanks for any recommendations.

We've stayed at a nice COE park at Maumelle, just outside of LR. It's on the AR River. There's also a "country" park at Toad Suck, between LR and Conway. There's more around, including a KOA, but we haven't seen them.

Depending upon how wide the "area" you are interested in, I might have a suggestion. We have stayed several times (as recently as last month) between Little Rock and Hot Springs (nearer to Hot Springs) at Cloud 9 RV park. It's on top of a hill with nice views, high above the roadway below. Very nice, roomy sites with free on-site WIFI.
We have also stayed at Maumelle and would entirely and enthusiastically support the recommendation from Countryfolks. It is one of the nicest parks. It, of course, does not have sewer on site. Very senic.

Thanks Countryfolks and padredw. I have read good things about both Maumelle and Cloud 9 Rv Park. Like the idea of WIFI at the campsite. DW is a late riser and I get up early, love to see the sun rise and would be able to keep up with the world and email on site. WE have been home two weeks now and my diesel pedal foot is getting twitchy. Have safe travels.

Toad Suck Park is a really nice park. It's on the Arkansas River with lots of big trees. They do have electric and water. It's about 40 minutes from Little Rock and about 15 minutes from Conway, Ar, a small town of about 45,000 people. The park is a Army Corp of Engineers Park, there is a dam site there also.
