Question

Many people in this forum travel all over this country and for personal reasons exercise their second amendment right to carry a firearm.
If the members of this forum are interested enough to reply 24 times to a posting, who gets to decide that it should be locked? Discussion was civil and did not deserve to be hi-jacked by over-zealous administrator.
Jerry

The thread in question was open for one month. Even though the OP indicated he thought the topic was not appropriate for this Forum the Admins left the thread open.

As far as who decides what is appropriate for posting on this Forum it is the Admins. Simple number of posts is immaterial.

As is usual and expected of the fine members of this Forum they were in fact civil.

Jerry, If you or any member, has a criticism of any other member or any particular Admin. --- it is strongly suggested that you do so in a private communication. Direct attacks on any member or Admin will not be tolerated.

Constructive criticism and or suggestions for improvement of the Forum are always acceptable and appreciated. Thank you, RVWheels, MOC Admin.

I think the issue of personal protection is VERY appropriate in a forum whose members frequently spend time in rural or remote areas where the presence of law enforcement is lacking.

And "lacking" rhymes with "packing," and "Mossberg" rhymes with... guess it doesn't matter WHAT Mossberg rhymes with!

I for one would love to reopen the discussion. We are both going to a hand gun safety course next month, and will be armed shortly after that. I want a gun SAFELY kept in the rig for protection, and I'd like to hear from others that do the same. Those who oppose 2nd amendment rights may go on to the next thread, read and talk about other topics, and have a great day!
