What is that??

I am in Kerrville, Tx, at Buckhorn Lake RV Park for the beginning of our summer travels. I have noticed 2 RVs with a flat rectangular device like an antenna set up but no wires or cables. The device is white with one is roof mounted and the other on the ground. Both are pointed generally North. They are approximately 18 x 12 inches is size and about 1/2 inch thick. Any idea what these are?
We are leaving this am so I don't have time to bug the owners! I will take a photo and post it later.

My guess would be Star Link satellite internet service. I am seeing many more this year than previously. It is for high speed internet service brought to you by Lon Musk.

I agree with above. I am in a campground with 35 sites. At times there were at least 4-5 of these on a roof or the ground.

Definitely StarLink. We alternate depending on location between the ground mount and ladder mount. It is a game changer on our Alaska trip. There is a cable, it’s grey.

Thanks!

I was always sure the MOCers would keep me informed.

Thanks
