Removing large front speaker grill from above tv
I'm trying to upgrade my front speakers but am having difficulty removing the very large front grill that goes across the top over the tv. I don't want to force it off and cause any damage. Has anyone ever removed theirs and if so is there a trick to taking it off without any damage. I'm also think there may be a sub woofer some where but so far I have not located it...

I have never had a need to remove the grill above our TV, But if your model has a fireplace below the TV, the sub woofer is probably floating loose behind the fireplace as ours was. I anchored ours to a wall, still behind the fireplace, with Velcro tape.

In our 2955RL, the subwoofer is located in a cabinet above the TV, at ceiling level.

Sounds like you've taken yours out before.
What exactly is used to hold it in?
