Duramax / Allison trans. question

My tow/haul setting stopped working. Not sure when but when I hooked up to test my brake new brake controller it won't engage. Transmission seems to work good other whys. I press button and nothing.
Any body else have this problem, would like to know before I have to take it to the shop and find out it was a simple fix.

Thanks for any help

we have a fuse that gets loose and we loose cruise control--I wonder if the tow/haul might also have a fuse?

Boy I love these forums.
Thanks to the Diesel forum, I solved my problem, somebody said to look for a chaffed wire under the shifted boot. There I found the broken wire, now I have to figure out how I'm going to fix it.

Mark, you probably already know this but if there is a chafed wire then it probably shorted out and likely blew the fuse. The Fords and Dodges have fuses for tow/haul, if I remember correctly, and I'd bet GM does, too. Good luck with it.
