Rear Egress Window

Help! On our 2014 3402 the latch broke as many other have posted. In my attempt to repair the latch, I opened the window too far and found the window in my hand. Ouch!! Problem is that I am not able to get the window re-installed in the frame. This is the rear window where there is a fixed large window and two lower windows, one behind the ladder (not an Emerg Exit), and the other, opposite the ladder is the egress window that is now removed.

Does anybody know how to re install this window?

PS I have been told that the entire window must be removed so that the egress window can slide back into the channel or track.

It's been a while since I helped another individual who had done the same thing as you. Opened the emergency egress too far and it fell out. If memory serves me correct we had to hold the window about 45 degrees to the frame and jockey the top of the window frame, (like a male hinge), into the slot, (female hinge) of the fixed frame. It took some maneuvering to accomplish but very doable. These emergency windows are made to fall out so you can have free egress without battling the window. PM me if my explanation doesn't make sense and perhaps I can talk you through it. Jim

Had the exact same problem couple of weeks ago. Got a new handle that was wrong. Had to do some modifying and got it to work. But also had the window come out also. Took a while and found out that the two little rubber squares on the end of the top part of the window was stopping the window from fitting in properly. I noticed that the window on the other side did not have them on since that window was replaced last year. I did away with the little rubber square and the window went in. I have not had any problems with it since, its been fine. But you have to get it at just the right angle. Hope this helps.
