Mountaineer - End table Upgrade

Our Mountaineer has a permanently mounted end table that is under the bay window and between the recliners. I recently did a modification so that this table was no longer used to house the Shoreline Cable and at the same time I opened this cabinet up by putting a cabinet door on front.

With all this done we were still not happy with the lamp that was mounted to the table. The location of the lamp made the table less useful for pictures, etc. The table top was also contructed of formica which did not give it a "furniture" look. We decided we would like an oak table top to match the rest of the coach furnishings. Here is a link to my website if you are interested.

Fulltimedreamer, Nice job on the table looks very nice, Just a question though, when you had it down as far as you did why didn't you put a couple of full extintion drawes in the cabinet, It looks like there is a lot of usable space to do that.

After looking in your picture book I noticed they use the cabinet for the 50 amp service line so.... forget the drawers.

Looks really nice. Has anyone done anything with the space behind the chairs along the back window? I have been thinking of a cabinet that goes right along the wall, would be nice for storing magazines, crats etc. Might even be able to get a printer back there?? Haven't done any measuring, as to chairs riding during travelling, but it sure looks like something could be done.
