Toilet Upgrade on Mountaineer

Our '03 Mountaineer 335RLBS came with an Aqua Magic IV plastic potty. While the potty worked fine it was always a little short, had crevices that are hard to keep clean and was just not as sturdy has the stick house potty.

So, I ordered a SeaLand Traveler Lite Porcelain Toilet from Camping World. I ordered it Monday evening and it arrived by UPS this afternoon. I installed this afternoon and installation was a piece of cake. Debbie was pleasantly surprised when I had her look in the coach this evening. She thinks this one will be much easier to keep clean and it really looks nice! Well enough "potty" talk. If you want to see it, here is a link to my website.

Congratulations on your new throne! We've considered making the same upgrade but decided to sit on it for a while....the old one, that is.

Glad you were able to replace - looks really nice. You had a lot of room to work also. Everyone will eventually have to do this or buy a new Montana. On our other unit we replaced the seat once and then realized for about twice what the seat cost, we could replace with the nice porcelain Aurora and flushes better and is easier to clean. We had it in only a few months when we traded. It was 104 the day we exchanged or Ed would like swapped them. (Dealer did not provide electric to us so we could run air.) We will replace ours as soon as something goes wrong.

Lamar,

You've got to stop this. I can't keep up.

Happy Camping
