My Dad

For all those who know my Dad (Jim).

He will not be with us much longer.

He is surrounded by family and friends, all this week.

His health is deteriorating rapidly.

Anyone who wants to say a prayer or think happy thoughts for his transition would be most welcome.

Thank you all for Your hospitality and friendship.
Chris

Chris,
I don't know your Dad but I know what you're going through. My Dad and Mom have both been gone for a number of years but I still have the memories. We will pray for you during this time and believe that all the prayers that go up on behalf of your Dad and your family will carry you through. Belief in the Master is the greatest thing that can a person can have.

In those final days, it is so difficult to stand by and helplessly watch. I know that experience. You have my heart-felt empathy and prayer for you and all your family.

Chris, Betty and I had the privilege and pleasure of meeting your Dad at the NE Rallies. I know the close relationship you have with your Dad and we will pray for him, you and your family during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you during this trying time. It is so hard to say good byes to those we love, but there is joy in knowing he will no longer have to suffer and someday you can all be together again. God, give this family strength in the days ahead to accept whatever you will may be.

Having just gone through the same thing with my Mother, my thoughts and prayers are with you to get you through this. It's very difficult to sit and watch.

Our prayers are with you and your family for strength and comfort. It is a hard thing to experience that transition and to say good-bye. You have fond memories and that will substain you.

I have experienced a lot of death and dying as an ICU nurse. I can tell you that death isn't something to be afraid of. It is sweet and peaceful and oft times a welcome relief. Lingering is the terrible part; on the patient and the family. God's blessings to all of you...
