They go on sale at least a couple times a year, usually saves you a few hundred dollars. Second generator always costs more than the first in what I have seen advertised. Good luck on finding used as they go very fast.

I got mine from Craig's list. I had to travel and they both needed a lot of Seafoam to clean them up, but once they were running well I've gotten five good years out of them and paid about half of what one new one would have cost me.

Here is the place I got my generators and extended run tank. In 2012. First link is generator.
Second link is tank.

Might want to call - I got mine as a set on sale with 1 Companion 2000i, 1 2000i and the parallel cable included.
Then I added the extended run tank which is pricey, but nice with quick connect hoses and quick connect aluminum caps.

Ran the generators 36 hours straight when I80 closed due to a blizzard.

I was going to add the info in the extended run tank....whenever we need the generators for A/C, (Bonneville), the tank is a great accessory. We ordered our generators online from Wise Sales. No tax, free shipping and a great price at the time....this was a few years ago.

Same as Bill. Have had them for 5+ years now and have only used them at home during power outage. Hope to use them in retirement next year when we do some boondocking.

I like to let people know how things turn out when I post something on this site. DW found 2 Honda gens here in town for sale with all the attachments. Both for $1,400.00 that is a great savings over what I planned on paying and no sales tax. So thank you for all your help and suggestions.
