refrigerator

The last two trips out we had the refrigerator set on automatic. Upon leaving it was running on LP. When we arrived the refrigerator was beeping and was not running on LP. The refrigerator had a message NO FL, NO AC. Checking the manual this means no "flame"?. After arriving, I turned switch to off and let it reset. Then it would start up on propane. Any ideas? Camping in a 2012 3100RL.

What is the condition of your house battery? a discharged battery will not open the propane solenoid and allow the striker to light the propane. just a thought.

We had the same issue happen when we bought our 2013 3100RL. The factory put the wire tie that holds the flexible propane line to the slide to close to the slide. It was the same situation you describe. Refrigerator worked when the slide was out but then gave the error you describe when the slide was closed. I would put the slide out in and wait to see if the LP is cutoff. I can take a picture of where the wire tie is at if you need. Good luck.

We have been on the road for 6 weeks, therefore running the frig on propane at least 4 travel days a weeks. Our frig went out during the second week on a travel day. Both propane tanks were about 2/3 full. We stopped and had both tanks filled. Frig ran on propane for another couple of weeks while traveling until one tank got down to 2/3 full. Switched to full tank and it hasn't missed a beat staying running on propane. I think I have a propane regulator issue and not a frig issue. Just a thought. We will be getting it into a dealer next week.

Thanks for comments. The slides in or out may be a thought. will check on this. also will check full tank. I keep one tank off and use other until it is empty then switch. maybe it is low enough to not provide adequate pressure.

The auto-swtich regulators are somewhat troublesome. There are several posts about them.

Also, I ran into a totally plugged line hose from the tank to the regulator on the driver's side. Apparently came that way from Keystone. It would feed fine from the passenger side through the auto-switch regulator and did so till the tank went dry, then the frig stopped working. Wondered why I never seemed to use any propane from the driver's side tank.

Put 130 psi air through the line hose, no go. New hose for $15, all good and no problems since.
