Steve the bag holds more than one vacuuming. Unless you have pets - then it might not. The filters have to be changed and the instructions tell you when and how. You should get the instructions when you get your new unit. If not, yell and I'll scan for you.

We do a lot of vacuumings before replacing the bag. Just check the bag for fullness after vacuuming. Replace when full or the suction is reduced. The replacement bags are expensive.

Thanks. Picked up the beater bar this morning. Looks well-built, substantial. I can't honestly say I'm anxious to try it out because that involves work but I will eventually try it.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

How many days did it take to get after you ordered? We will have to call them before we arrive in Independence so we can pick it up there.

Myrna, Steve ordered it Monday afternoon and picked it up today. He's not online right now, but I'll ask him to send the info to you.

Will you be staying at Campus when you're in Independence?

Yes, we are staying at the Campus. I think our reservations are for 9/14 to 9/17. When are you leaving?

Oh goody!!! We'll be here until 9/16 ... I think I see some Mexican Train in our future!

And Mac ... Steve is the vacuum-operating-person in this family so he'll have to tell you how it works!

If you look at the pictures Ozz provided, the connector swivels so it can get into a lot of different angles. It's not tiny but it's just narrow enough I think it will get into those tough areas, like between bed and closet, etc. That was a problem with the home vac we used to carry. Too wide. It will be probably three weeks before I "get the chance" to try it.
