I called the Montana company and ask them if the roof in the bedroom would support an air conditioner. I gave them the vin number and year and they said it would be fine. I told them that it was not preped for 2nd air conditioner. They said it would hold. Don did the wiring for it and installed two extra circuits to handle it. A Montana service center installed the air conditioner. So they should know if it would hold. This was done two weeks ago. They told my husband "Good job on the wiring" Should be! has done this for 40 years.

Hope this helps.

Dusty,

Before you guys leave CO I should have Don take care of mine! Seriously I'm not sure if it's prepped or not, I should check with the dealer/Montana. We were staying above Loveland last weekend, in the Big Thompson canyon and it was miserably hot and humid. Of course this is CO humid which means others would laugh, it might have been 50%, but you have to remember we're used to being at 6300' with no humidity, and Loveland is 1200' lower WITH.

Let us know when you want him to look at your Monty. You are not that far from us. Do you have it stored near there?

I used the 2nd AC wiring in our 3655FL to install a ceiling fan over the bed with remote control.
