We have the Splendide vented combo and I just love it. This is really our first trip to amount to anything and I guess I've done about 6 loads so far. While the loads are small and each one takes a while to do, I have lots of time. I find the Splendide laundry detergent is excellent! Use some fabric softener as it helps the clothes dry faster. If I wash 2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts I wash them only, when done take out the shirts, dry the jeans then dry the shirts. If I wash a load of like fabrics (towels and washclothes) I set the combo to automatically go into the dry cycle. For me having the ability to wash clothes right in my home makes it feel more like home!!
