May need to check rims
I had been noticing a rust color coming from the crack where the center of the rim attaches to the outer tire rim.
Today I was replacing the brake shoes and packing the bearings and while I had the wheel off I cleaned the back side of the rim to see if I could see where the rust was coming from.
The center is welded to the outer rim in four places. One of the welds had broken loose and a second had started to crack.
I took it to a welding shop and had it welded.
Just thought I would mention it so if you see rusty color you may want to check yours.(probably 1 in a 1000)
I think it came from jackknifing the trailer and sliding the wheels sideways.
