Wow- pretty broad request with all of the available parks around here. Do you have any preference as to which side of town, amenities, rates, etc? Do you want to be close to something in particular?

I think Mike is correct. Figure out what your plans are and the pick a park that works for you in that area. I try noy to drive anywhere during rush hour traffic. Just makes life more pleasant when you are close and can pick your time of traveling.

There are so many within the area of Phoenix I'm amazed. We will be competing in a dog show at the Phoenix Fairgrounds wherever that is.
Would like to find a small park if there is such a thing. Thanks again.

If I remember where I drove last fall the fairgrounds are located off the Ten a ways and just north of the 60 also known as Grand Ave. This is just west of downtown Phoenix. In my opinion this is not the very nicest part of Phoenix. I think there are some RV parks in Sun City which would be just up the Sixty from the Fair Grounds. May have to do a google search. I have not had my fifth wheel down there as I have a small home in North Phoenix that I use when I go there.

We have seen, long long ago, that fairgrounds frequently had camping available during dog shows and stuff.

Carol is probably correct and that make sense as I remember seeing RV's there when we attended the fair.

Thanks for your input-I have contacted the Dog show people for info on parking at the site. It's in March, but with all the Snowbirds I thought I'd better get a spot ASAP.
