New big dog

We recently moved and got a 3 year old Irish Wolfhound mixed breed. Needless to say he is large and we already have two Pekenese. Our truck is an F350 Club Cab and I am concerned how all three dogs will do traveling in the back seat. The new dog is named Jack and he takes up a lot of room and doesn't like to lay down. I know the 2 small dogs won't like him being back there with them. They have been on many trips with us having all of the back seat to themselves. The Pekes sleep almost the entire trip. I am listening to hear how others deal with this problem when the only traveling space is the back seat.

Crates, we have 2 ladies who agree to disagree, one lady on one side of the truck; boys in between in one crate, as peacekeepers; other lady on the other side in her own crate.

Crates seat belted in.

Crates even if they got along! Crates save the lives of dogs in case of a horrid accident, and may keep the dogs from killing you as well, in same case.

Guess for your big boy, I would be looking at one of those doggie seatbelts and then crates for the 2 Pekes.
