Fall is in the air--Pork fat on my mind!
Wish we were back in Louisiana just for a day or so. We have a newly awakened craving for Cracklings like the Cajuns make them.
Just checked a place there that will pack and ship them by UPS/ But $55 worth of Cracklings cost an added $62 in shipping.
Total about $118 for 7 lbs.
Big problem. The Pig Skins they sell around here are like saw dust.
Anybody ever successful in making those things?
