Whazzup?
Most of the time my Verizon service is up and running, but sometimes, I have to click on the little dealie on the bottom of the screen and connect. No pattern, I would like it to be there all the time, on, that is.
Is there a setting I need to adjust???
Confused from Missouri...

At the risk of sounding simplistic, your connect gets broken for whatever reason (that can be a multitude of things) and you have to re-establish it. It is common.

Mine stays connected 24/7 and even when we shut the 'puter down when we restart it is automatically reconnected.
How did I do this you ask? I have no idea! BUT Lorraine may remember BUT it is 6AM and she is still in bed and I ain't gonna wake her for NO body, NO how, NO way. Ain't gonna happen. Been there, Done that, it ain't nice.

Stiles, that may be it, but one would think it would go down at some time, when I am sitting here poking at the keys on line.
It was on this morning. Glenn, is there a strength meter somewhere? Does yours stay on as good wherever you are?
My meter on my Sprint phone shows full strength, but I know that is not a reliable sign for my possible problem.
Ahh, to heck with it, it's no big deal.

Glenn, isn't your device operating from within a 3G router? (i can't remember)
Ozz, most 3G routers do their best to keep a connection open all the time.

Here in the stick house, I turn all of my computers off at nite. In the morning the blue lite(on my Linksys router) for the data card is off until I turn one of the computers on. Then, I'm connected all day until I turn off at nite. Except, occasionally, durning the day I will notice things are "disconnected". The blue data card lite is usually still on, so I have to turn it off and then back on and I'm back online. I chaulked it up to a system fluxuation and the router doesn't reset. It doesn't happen very often.
I'm still very happy with my 3G aircard home/mobile network.
