Indoor AC addition

I know this topic has been discussed, but I asked a question about whether or not one of them could be vented through a regular washer/dryer vent and haven't seen an answer. IF we go with one of these, we'd like to put it where the washer/dryer would be and vent it out the side. Seems like a much more cost effective and efficient way to go since we've solar on the area where a second AC would sit. We would need the extra cooling occasionally, so that's another consideration.

Walt they do make an AC that vents the hot air out a hose/tube. I found this out a few years ago when we had some issue with XFMR's controls running to hot at work when in direct sunlight in the summer. I thought is was a neat thing.

I've seen them in use with tents, but the vent looked to me to be bigger than an RV dryer vent.
