Kitchen slide

I just took my 2009 3400 into camping world to have slide toppers put on. They called me today and said that that they could not put a topper over the kitchen slide because it would interfere with the microwave vent. I had never heard of this problem. Do any of you have a topper over your kitchen slide?

Seems some that claim to be RV techs are mentally challenged. Try this thread. I think you'll find the answer there.

Do these pics help? Just a note: I used the "L" brackets instead of the angle brackets that came with the sliders. Used these to maintain the same profile as the other three slides. They were readily available from Dometic, just had to specify them for one slide topper.

I think I would go back to Camper World and ask why so many new rigs are coming from the factory with kitchen slide toppers. I'm right along with the rest of the guys, mine came with toppers on all my slides.
