Winter in Ocala, Fl.

6 more weeks This will be our first time to go south for the winter. Leaving Ohio on November 13th. and spending the winter at the Encore RV Park in Ocala, Fl. Anyone passing thru or in the area, stop in and say hello. Anxious to see how spending 4 months in this new 3400 will go.

Ohiocamper that sounds like fun to me I have family in Zepherhills Florida and may be coming that way. Will try and look you up it would be great to meet another MOC member. We have been in our 3280RL for a little over a year and we just love it and hope that you will too. Happy RVing

The Encore RV Park is about 1 mile from I-75 at mile marker #368. Go west on Rt. #318 for 1/4 mile and then south on Hwy. #225 about 3/4 mile. We will be leaving Fl. on the same day to come back to Ohio for Christmas and then back to Florida on Jan. 1st. We plan on taking alot of day trips to see other campgrounds and sites so let us know where you're staying and maybe we can stop by.

Well be in Ocala this winter in our 3400RL for about 8 weeks. There's a horse show there, Post Time Farm.

We'll be leaving Ohio the 1st of Nov...for a month in Pigeon Forge.From there, it's on to central Fl for 3mos.Looks like a lot of Montanas will be in Fl.

If you are looking at the Kissimmee area and are Disney fans check out the Lakewood RV Resort on Osceola/Polk Line Road. I looked all over the area before I settled there for a month. It's right down the road from Mouse Mountain RV Resort. I It's an older park but has it's charm. The staff and owner's are super nice people. But what's really great is the location.

It's a straight 8 miles south on Shubert Road into Disney. It's a mile from I-4, a short hop to the Osceola parkway and 417. It's just north of 17/92 into the south end of Kissimmee. It's also a short and easy drive to Hi-way 27. It's away for the hustle but gives you a lot of options on how to get from one place to the next. One thing I learned about driving around Orlando/Kissimme is you always need and plan B or C depending on what's happening in traffic on any given day.

If you check out the Park. Lot C-12, in my opinion, is the best site for a 5th wheel. I believe their winter monthly rate is $359.

Looks like FL is going to be dotted with Montana's this season. Come on down. We need your spending to help with recovery. Especially the small business owners.
