Cable Service

We are in Santa Fe enjoying our stay. It appears that most parks in Santa Fe either have dropped cable service or never had it. Not an issue with me -- I have satellite and the digital on the air is very good. Is this a trend for the future? We stayed in Artesia and had great cable service. Just wondering what others have experienced.

It seems most Cable companies want to charge for each drop, even if not used very often

Come on up to Pojoaque/Roadrunner RV Park 15 miles north of you and we ain't got nothing. Internet WIFI is a joke, no cable, no bathrooms or showers, not even a tree. If that doesn't bother you, it's a great little park at $485 a month including elec and all hookups. One thing we do have is a great Casino that loves our money. Oh, and a view that is spectacular.

New Mexico is the state were we've run into the most cable hookups.

Tim and Susan,
We've just made a swing up into the PNW and now on our way home and every park that had cable (95% of the parks) did not charge extra for it and it worked from "sort of" to fantastic! We see more parks with rather than without. Dennis and Mary Kay

We also have noticed a increase in the number of C.G's that have cable.

One advantage for the park is that they can have trees and if they provide cable they don't have all the requests for spots without trees so the satellite dishes can find the satellites.
